VEFpressKit help — Colors and images

Colors and images

A custom background color can be set for the whole PDF, and independently for each Text section (background and/or text color) — the background color only applies when the section fits on a single page. The header band background can be a color or an image (automatically cropped to fit). Title and text fonts (including your own uploaded .ttf, .woff or .woff2 file) are also configurable — see the « Global style » card on the Kit builder screen.

The « Global style » card also lets you set a default text color and a default link color for the whole kit — used by any section that does not set its own color, plus the « Press contact » box and the page footer on longer kits.

Using a font from your page builder — VEFpressKit cannot read the font list of Divi, Elementor or the block editor, because a PDF needs the font file itself. If it is a Google font (the built-in list of Divi is made of them), download it from fonts.google.com (« Get font », then « Download all »), unzip it and pick a static .ttf file, for example Montserrat-Regular.ttf (not the « VariableFont » file). Upload it to the Media Library, then choose « Custom font » for the title or text font in the « Global style » card and select the file. Each role takes one file, so one weight: for bold titles, upload the Bold .ttf.
